On February 19, 2026, attorney Oliwia Wiza-Carvalho had the pleasure of participating as a panelist at a conference organized by the Polish Portuguese Chamber of Commerce in cooperation with AEP – Associação Empresarial de Portugal and the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH).
The speaking engagement was a particular challenge, as it was delivered in Portuguese before a Portuguese audience; at the same time, it proved to be a highly rewarding and valuable professional experience.
During the panel, attorney Wiza-Carvalho shared her experience in supporting Portuguese entities entering the Polish market, with particular emphasis on cross-cultural differences in conducting business.
It was also an opportunity to present practical insights into Polish-Portuguese business relations and to provide both practical and, at times, light-hearted guidance to Portuguese investors on how to ensure a successful market entry and establish their business activity in Poland from the very beginning.
